The HPH-4 High Power HID controller allows the user to connect up to (4) 1000 watt HID ballasts to one main control "relay". It is designed to safely control HID lights from a single 30-amp power source. It accomplishes this by using a 16 foot "trigger" cable that connects to a timelock or the MDT-1. When the timer connected to the trigger cable turns on, the heavy-duty relay inside the HPH-4 is energized. When the relay is energized, the lights are turned on.
